Police in fresh appeal after Galashiels road tragedy
22 FebruaryLothian and Borders Police have issued a fresh appeal for witnesses following a fatal road collision on the A7 near Galashiels.
Graeme Milroy from Torwoodlee died as a result of injuries he sustained when his Citroen Saxo was involved in a collision with a black Skoda Octavia at around 5pm on Wednesday 8th February.
Officers are keen to speak with a woman who was on the scene shortly after the incident and assisted in administering first aid to the 24-year-old.
The woman is described as white, around 5ft 6ins tall with light coloured hair and may also have been wearing glasses.
A police spokesman said: "We have been greatly assisted by the witnesses who have already come forward but are eager to speak with this woman as soon as possible.
"She may have information that can further aid our investigation and we would urge her to contact police immediately."
