Later today, local officers will carry out a letter drop informing neighbouring properties of today's activity. Anyone who wishes to report a crime is asked to contact their local policing team, or the charity, Crimestoppers.
Sergeant Russell Copeland, who led today's operation, said: "The Langlee area, like the rest of Galashiels and the Scottish Borders remains a safe place to live, work and visit.
"Nevertheless the scourge of drugs can have a devastating impact on an area and police must respond appropriately to any intelligence we receive relating to drug crime.
"We continually engage with local residents and businesses across the Scottish Borders as part of our Community Commitment pledge and will take all the necessary steps to address any issues or concerns they may have.
"Our presence within Langlee today has sent a very clear message that we will robustly investigate any reports of crime within our communities.
"It should also serve as a reminder that the public will not tolerate criminals plaguing their local area and will work alongside police to identify and remove these individuals from the community."
