A brass band leading a parade in bonnie Scotland!!! Where are the Pipes and Drums? In the trail!!! For shame!

Joe Scottzep says

It is traditional that 'The Toons band' [when we had one big enough] shared the limelight with the Pipe Band. Don't forget that the Pipe&Drums have a very important job while the Braw Lad pays tribute to the Fallen. They can't be in two places at once. More to the point, the thing that absolutely disgusts me is the noise of people talking & shouting etc, while that silent tribute is supposed to be given in complete silence. Joe Scott, ex soldier.

Having been 'exiled' in London through work for many years, it is a joy to see the Braw Lads Gathering! Can't wait to partake again. Couldn't be there this year but was there the year before. Don't know how lucky you all are having these wonderful traditions; brings tears to the eyes just watching. Guid Auld Gala!!
