Galashiels Community Radio

TD1 Radio will hopefully be a truly community station serving Galashiels and the neighbouring areas. It will be run by local people for local people and will be very much a "doors open" station to allow the people of the town to get their voice heard.

Music will be varied and will range from the best new music to classic hits from over 50 years worth of popular music. It won't just be pop music though, we aim to cover rock, country, scottish, possibly classical, easy listening and we want to give local bands the chance to get their music on air too.

We also plan to feature more local news than is currently available and less national or international stories. We really want the community to become involved and help build a great station.
