If you have a bit of spare time on your hands or feel you want to give something for the community, why not give us a call on Gala 751888 and see what we can offer.It could be First Aid at public events or driving someone to or from hospital or one of the many other things we offer our community.

No need to worry about training we will teach you all you need to know about your chosen service, free of charge.

Come along and give it a try, you never know you may enjoy yourself and make new friends into the bargain.

C'mon on give it a go, I have just enjoyed a day at Kelso, providing First Aid cover at the Trout and Salmon Fair and some of my co-volunteers have been at Gala Sevens. All that and lunch into the bargain, can't be bad. Joe

After a very successful campeign over the winter so far, our volunteers have been able to deliver some very important services. We have able with the use of our specialy adapted vehicles and our 4x4 ATVs been able to transport, amongst others,recovering sick and daily appointments, to & from Home & Hospital. We, in conjunction with the relevant statutory bodies were also able to deliver essential messages so that folk had at least the staples to keep them fed until the situation reverted to the status quo. [not the band called S, Q.] We also enabled vulnerable people to stay in contact with the outside world so that in an emergency they could feel safe in their own homes. So Well Done the B.R.C.S. Volunteers for a job very well[though not finnished] done.

P.s. we could do with more volunteers, so feel free to enquire about joining us.
